First Essay
I recently completed the first essay of the spring inquiry project. It was based on Watchmen and an interview we conducted. The prompt I was writing on had to do with violence and human nature. I used examples from these sources to prove that it indeed was. Before the essay, I made no outline or thought about the stance I would take. I went in to Stephanie's room, and everything just came out. It was pretty easy, but my beliefs might change with my next book. We were going to read Battle Royale, but then we found out the book was over 600 pages long. I think we're going to switch to Fight Club instead. Thoughts?

I think Fight Club would be a good choice for our topic, it's only about 200 pages long and we need a relatively short book to read now that the next deadline is approaching.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about American Psycho too, since it follows the thoughts of a serial killer and might be useful to answering our question, but it's around 400 pages.
