Inquiry Project 2.0

At this point, I'm not quite sure what I want to do. As we are required to be in a group this time around, I might be joining Natasha in studying if violence is within human nature. However, neither of us know what books we could do for that prompt. Any suggestions?

  1. These are just suggestions, with the !!! meaning interesting to me:

    1. Battle Royal by Koushun Takami (movies excellent) !!!
    2. Lord of the Flies (unless you've read it already)
    3. Child of Fire by Scott O'Dell
    4. War Is A Force That Gives Us Meaning by Chris Hedges (maybe)
    5. Watchmen by Alan Moore (seems a good fit)!!!
    6. Graceling by Kristin Cashore (seems like a good fit) !
    7. The Warmest December by Bernice McFadden
    8. A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess
    9. The Sacrifice by Kathleen Dubin (seems a good fit) !!
    9. The Hunter by Richard Stark !!!!

  2. Nice idea for a theme. If I were doing that I would probably try to find stories from a wide range of cultures to see if any cultures don't have violence in their fabric. I don't know any that don't, but it's worth a try.
